He worked for his uncle, Gershon Agronsky, as a newsman for the
Jerusalem Post during WW II. He became a well known news
reporter and commentator, and had a radio program in the U.S. at
one time.
Although his father had shortened his family name from Agronsky
to Agrons, which was Martin's original surname, he changed it to
Agronsky when he went to work for Gershon.
