Poryck was a town in Poland between the two world wars. Today it is located in Ukraine. During World War II the Nazis, along with Ukrainian collaborators, murdered its Jewish and Polish residents. Sixty years later, the governments of Ukraine and Poland signed a reconciliation agreement, the town moved to Ukrainian territory and was named Pavlivka, after the name of the nearby village.

Shlomo Dobromil’s (Dovrat) family were part of this community that lived in Poryck, and many of them were murdered by the Nazis. In their memory, and in memory of the Jewish community who perished, attached are photographs of the family. Yad Vashem holds a full testimony written by Shlomo Dobromil (Dovrat).
