Notes:
!connection as per Schulte
SOPHIA WALLERSTEIN (1793-18 Nov 1849) was married to JUDA ABRAHAM (1785-4 Jun 1858), Schammes and Cantor ("Vorbeter" or "Vorsänger" in german). He was born in Scho(p)floch, Franconia. That's the way Michael Brocke writes it. I'm sure that Your "Schofloch" indeed is SCHOPFLOCH in central Franconia, north of Wallerstein (and pretty close to it). Hebrew language has no "p". For instance: "Koppel" (nickname for Jacob) is always written and read as "Kaffel". I guess Your "Schofloch" comes from a (hebrew) grave inscription. Schopfloch in Franconia was one of the more important historic jewish communities and it still has an amazing cemetery with hundreds of headstones. I wonder if anyone dealt with it so far. The Mayor of Schopfloch (a Mr Hofmann !) knows nothing about jewish family history there. It's a pity.
JUDA ABRAHAM and SOPHIA nee WALLERSTEIN had the following children (at least that's what the documentation mentions:
ASCHER ELIESER (later ADOLF LAZARUS) married to PAULINE nee ANSCHEL JOSEF married to PAULINE nee WALTER JAKOB (married ?)
Another interesting assumption:
JUDA ABRAHAM might have been the son of ABRAHAM JUDA in Schopfloch and his wife LISA (or LISET) WALLERSTEIN, daughter of ABRAHAM ASCHER WALLERSTEIN.
